The Towers of Light at Ground Zero were lit on September 11th.

Here, from my living room window, I'm reminded of what happened that day... 

BBQ BROOKLYN

On labor day my friend George Micheal (Rusch) had an oriental BBQ on the rooftop of his formerly illegally converted warehouse loft. His perfect view of Midtown Manhattan is soon to be obstructed by a 55-story tower.

The majority of Brooklyn has undergone massive rezoning in the past few years in what will be one of the most extensive urban redevelopments in American History. Most people move to Brooklyn because of the skyrocketing real estate prices in Manhattan.

His building is slated for demolition; this view will soon be extinct.
